Larry Johnson on a competitive team?

How much better do you think LJ would perform on a competitive team? Just imagine if he got onto a team that doesn't put up with BS like the Pats. 2 of their backs are injured and they could use some depth. Imagine if he was on another veteran team like the Steelers. He knows he can't mess around with either of these teams because he means nothing to them. Imagine if he was on Indy; Peyton would take everything out of him. LJ can be successful again if he goes to a good team where he wants to actually show up imo. I would like to see him on the Packers, because we can't get any worse at RB.

I think LJ would only be successful with a top team. A place where there is an established o-line, and strict player policy. Luckily for LJ a few top teams could use him. I think the Patriots would be a perfect home for him, considering that they are very slim at RB. Recently though Maroney has been coming around. Steelers might be able to work him in. Chargers might be a suitor. Heck, even the Eagles could probably use him. I would like to see him go somewhere and have a good season, or two. But I think at this point a teams success would increase his success, so I definitely agree with you there.

Hate the Chiefs, never want to defend them...but having watched every [expletive] Chiefs game because of my girlfriend, Johnson got to where he thought he was Jerome Bettis, decided he was going to break everyone's bones on the opposition, and believed he could take out the wall of defensive lineman waiting for him. I rarely saw him follow blockers in Kansas City since he got his big contract, and unless Johnson is Barry Sanders, there's absolutely no way he'll make a career of doing that, doesn't matter where he's at.
