kingfish
What do you think, is he done?
Smitty
Honestly, I just don't think he meshes well in the current system(and lack of touches to an extent) And the other thing is even if his contract was more tradeable, he has little value right now. So no choice but to hope he adjusts.
Check my Stats
How many games overall has he played as a Sixer? 20 so far? lol, give him time even though I don't think he will work there his career is or should be far from over. Phightins
I am not ready to give up on him but this team as a whole is frustrating the hell out of me.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 12, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 12, 2009 It's just not the right system for him. I just don't see the Sixers playing a half-court game where they dump it off to Brand every time in the post. They need to run and get open jumpers. Iggy just isn't the right teammate for Brand (and vice-versa). They need to be split up.
Smitty
And it doesn't help when Eddie Jordan doesn't have a clue, either. Ugh. Wish we would've signed Thibodeau. He was the perfect fit.
Diesel
Eddie Jordan is doing a bad job of giving Brand the ball deep in the post. Most of Brand's touches are coming out near the three point line where he is not a threat at all. That needs to change and Eddie Jordan needs to make some adjustments. It doesn't help that Speights is outplaying him as well and getting most of the 4th quarter minutes. I wouldn't say it's officially a failure yet, but it's close.
