Doc
I’ll have more to come on this shortly … but … the Toronto Raptors have just signed forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu … claiming him off waivers. He was released/waived by the Houston Rockets on Friday November 13. This is Mensah-Bonsu’s second stint with the Raptors. In 19 games with Toronto last year, the energetic forward averaged 5.1 points and 5.4 rebounds. http://blog.rogersbroadcasting.com/ericsmith/2009/11/17/breaking-news-raptors-sign-pops/ WOOO!! WELCOME BACK!!! It sucks tho,he wont get any playing time.
Built Ford Tough
I would've rather them sign a project perimeter player to sit on the bench, or a project in general. It just makes more sense to me to have high reward player riding the pine than a player who has already peaked in terms of their development. It is nice to see Menash-Bonsu back though, I guess. Check my Stats
There is a reason this guy has spent more time off of roster than on them. He just isn't a good player, I don't want him here because he is our worst big man even behind Rasho. We already have guys who are superior to him that bring the same things to the table. Kind of a waste of the roster spot.

headliner
Pops is a good energy guy to have on the bench but he is not going to get much playing time.
