ChosenOne
As much as I hate to say it you really cant help to think that he is with him being as injured as he has been. Yeah he has made the allstar team for many years now but is that really enough?
Warren2ThaG
It's just his body and minutes doing the damage, not a choice. So I say no way.
His Greatness
Kwame Brown is a bust. Yao Ming is just made of glass.
Celtics3420
When healthy he is arguably the best big in the league, how can you call that a bust?
Cleveland's Finest
Making the all-star team justifies not being a bust. If he's a bust then so are Tmac and Gil due to their injuries or playoff struggles.
JWaLL
He has fulfilled, and maybe even surpassed the expectations that were made for him. He is arguably the best center in the league when he is healthy, and it is common sense that someone of that size receiving the minutes that he gets is going to break down a few times in his career. He is no bust at all.
bigdog17k
Not a bust, just fragile.
Dr. Feelgood
Why would you even think he was a bust? There is no chance at all that he's a bust. None. Sure, he gets injuried a lot but that certainly doesn't make him a bust. Like what has been said, when healthy, he is usually the best center in the entire league, hands down. Name another center in the league that can hit mid range shots CONSISTANTLY. Name another center in the league in which they take the technical foul free throw. The Rockets don't send TMac, Brooks, Battier, or anyone else to take the technical free throw if Yao is on the court. He can shoot, he can draw fouls, he can MAKE 90% of his free throws. In no way shape or form is Yao a bust.
Flash
He's not a bust but he hasn't been as good as he can be. He's been soft and now he's injured all the time. Those teams with he and T-Mac a few years back should have been much better than they were.
