MainEv3nt
The Knicks have been trying to engage the Rockets in talks regarding Tracy McGrady since the summer. Multiple sources told Newsday that New York could try to contact Houston again, this time with greater success, in the wake of reported issues between McGrady and the Rockets. There was a reported confrontation between McGrady and coach Rick Adelman, which both denied, this week regarding the star's return from a knee injury. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/62938/20091122/sources_knicks_could_target_t_mac/
Owner Real Deal Posted November 22, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 22, 2009 Either the Knicks want to shed even more money so they can get about $45 million under the cap this summer (LOL), or they think he can contribute for them, then resign for much less. They could deal Curry and Jeffries. Houston would probably pull the trigger, as this gives them another big man and two player options (which will expire after next season). That way, if the Knicks keep Tracy for just one season, they'll owe a total of $8-9 million for the rest of their team, assuming they don't re-sign anyone (LOL again) and that gives them what...$45-50 million to sign free agents? Then they can see how much money Lee, Harrington, McGrady and Robinson will take, and go from there. Or...it can all backfire in their face, where no player returns, and no big free agent signs, and the Knicks win two games in 2010-11. fish7718
Yeah this deal only gets done if they take Curry and or Jeffries only question is what would we have to add for that happen. Dash
The New York media needs to give up already, we do not want Curry or Jeffries in any way. Knicks are the worst possible trading partner out there, to me their best talent trading chips are average at best.
Guest N4S
I would love him on the Knicks. Makes them less of a threat in the ATL division. He is always injured.

Lol, I wouldn't say that it makes them less of a threat in the Atlantic because McGrady or no McGrady, the Knicks are still completely irrelevant in that division.
