magicbalala245
Thanks to Artest you guys can enjoy Ariza suckas as for LA going to win a title next year here is the article on Ariza verbal commitment with the Rockets Trevor Ariza has made a verbal commitment to sign with the Houston Rockets, according to sources close to the process. The 6-foot-8 Ariza averaged 8.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the Lakers last season, which ended with the NBA championship. With at least five teams pursuing Ariza, the Lakers appeared unwilling to pay him more than the $5.6 million mid-level exception.
Force
Bye Trevor. </3 He was an enormous part of this championship team, and had huge plays, but 9 mil was way too much. I hope he succeeds in Houston..hopefully we can lure Artest in.
Guru
Finally something good for the Rockets.

We got Artest buddy ESPN reported ESPN The Magazine’s Chris Broussard reports that Artest and the Lakers have reached a verbal agreement on what is believed to be a three-year contract worth an estimated $18 million. Wednesday is the first day free agents are permitted to sign new deals.
The Artesticle
He's not gonna be as good without Kobe/Pau, especially since the Rockets have no #1 option. He cannot create his own shot and is a very poor ball handler. But he can shoot when left open, and is extremely athletic, and young. Good luck with him. Be Like Mike
So the Rockets essentially trade Ron Ron to LA for Ariza. He's getting the MLE from Houston apparently. So Trevor opts for Houston who will be w/o Yao over the world champs for the same amount of money. LOL. Trevor needs to fire his agent. JWaLL
Not a bad pickup considering Artest left. He's a slightly worse version of Artest so I guess it's not a horrible pickup for the Rockets. I would assume they aren't done signing players.

I guess they get younger but it's still not a bright spot. The amount of offensive Artest created for the Rockets will never be matched by Ariza [iMO]

Dr. Feelgood
Well, this opens up more shots for my man Aaron Brooks (UO BABY!!!). I listen to the Jim Rome show on the radio a lot and TMac was on there saying that he's gonna be coming back strong plans on playing every game in the upcoming season. Whether that will happen, we'll find out. Also, I like Battier more than Artest, so this makes Battier the starter. No way Ariza starts over either TMac (if healthy) or Battier. Brooks, TMac, Battier, Hayes, Scola is what I'm seeing the lineup as.
doobeedoo
But who will chuck up all the shots now that Artest and Skip aren't in Houston anymore...

The Goods
All is good in LA, I was hoping Ariza went to the Rockets instead of the Cavs. Ariza was a vital part in our championship this year, and I wish him luck in Houston, to bad he has a horrible agent. The Next Knick
Maybe they can build a nice core around him and Aaron, and get rid of some of those big ugly contracts. Yao's done, so I don't see how this team does much damage on the season!
Dr. Feelgood
They definitely wont make the post season this year...If they did, it'd be amazing.

Zero
But who will chuck up all the shots now that Artest and Skip aren't in Houston anymore... Rafer wasn't really shot chucker. If Wafer re-signs then it's him.
