Battier/Durant..Hayes/Green..Scola/Krstic.. on paper OKC have the better team. we will be better than them if Tmac gets tradedim starting to think we could possibly make playoffs Edited July 3, 2009 by MoeRoadKill
Dr. Feelgood
Hahaha. The Thunder wont make the post season for another 2-3 years. Just my opinion though, lol.
OldChili
The Thunder will not make the playoffs.
moeroadkill
we agree rockets wont make the playoffs?if jazz loose boozer and millsap they will strugglerockets without yao and tmac for the 1st few months and who knows he might not even be 100% healthyso that leavesLakers,Spurs,Denver,Portland,Dallas,Hornets.. according to my calculations that leaves two spots open sun,Jazz,Warriors,Grizzlies,Kings,Twolves, clippers, rockets and lastly the thunderjazz and suns are most likely to fill in the other two spots yeah? Amare, knees and eye problems without him they wont go anywhere.next best teams on paper warriors thunder.jazz loose boozer millsap suns amera gets injured there is a possibility can a few lil stats about the thunder we lose 14 games within 5 points.. and i think 5-7 of them were buzzer beaterslook at the teams above us GS 29 wins.. Thunder 23winsand with our slow start 1-12, wont be happening again.
OldChili
The only way the Thunder somehow make the playoffs is if the worst possible situation occurs to one of the other contending teams, which is what you did above.
The Regime
I feel betrayed. Oh well, I will def miss the guy. He will always have a spot in my heart.
Flight
Wafer declined a 3.5 million contract. When was that? I knew he wasn't a shoe-in Rocket but I didn't know he turned them down. Someone will pay him though, he's really just a scorer, but he proved he can really shoot and is athletic enough to have a little more than half the contract Ariza had (with defense being the difference). Flight
I doubt Thunder make the playoffs this year, probably not next year either. But we're on the Bobcats plan. 3-4 year turnaround, and I say this year was the first, with OKC being a different team than Seattle. 2011 watch out. Keep the pieces and this team will be playoff bound.
Dash
Wafer declined a 3.5 million contract. Yeah, he's not coming back. We have Budinger and Taylor to replace him.
kingfish
You guys overpaid for Ariza. Unless hes getting wide open shots and dunks hes worthless. Hel get a couple steals but hel also give up a lot of points of the guy he is defending as well. Yeah hes young and could get better but there is no reason to suggest he can be a slasher/scorer he cant create his own shot and career high is like 8 ppg. Like I said, the Thunder wont make the post season for another 2-3 years.

I think the contract we signed him to was actually great value.
ChosenOne
9 million is not bad as long as we have him locked up for a while and it is not a 3 year contract or something of that sort. Edited July 4, 2009 by ChosenOne
