Built Ford Tough
As for Reggie Evans and his return, head coach Jay Triano was curt in his reply, "no idea." He then followed that up by saying he’ll see a specialist soon to determine any sort of time lines on his return. You’d have to think mid-December at this point which would mean 2 months out of the lineup. Cleary, Reggie’s loss has been Amir Johnson’s gain. http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/rapsnbatv_blog.html When I first heard about his injury I thought that it was not big deal and he would miss a week or two at the most, but with him still being out of the lineup, and judging by what I have heard not even being close to returning, and now the news abou thim going to see a foot specialist, I am wondering how serious this injury really is. The Raptors could definitely use Evans and his grit in the lineup, so hopefully he isn't forced to miss much more time.
Check my Stats
Not even as anxious as I was for him to come back tbh. I just want his presence but I have a feeling that I will prefer Amir to Evans in the end. Edited November 26, 2009 by travesy3
The Artesticle
You guys are better off giving Amir Johnson the minutes since he's still young and developing. I'm not a big fan of Reggie Evans. Sure, he's a scrappy player. He's good at grabbing boards but beyond that he doesn't really contribute much. He doesn't have the ideal height and he's terrible offensively. I'd rather give the young more minutes...
