AboveLegit
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_XOQd1EqmfLs/Sw4NGO4_xcI/AAAAAAAAKD8/Hl1OBzQOTZE/s400/mix.jpgLadies and gentlemen, B&B presents to you Enemy Of The State: A Love Story. Both Corey and I have already praised Lupe enough in earlier posts, so there’s really not much left to be said. Clearly, this is a very important tape, considering especially how little Lupe we hear in between albums (which, bear in mind, there have only been two). Although his career is not the most prolific, his impact on hip-hop is stunning. From the tricky metaphors that he makes seem so natural to the genius that was behind the concept of his sophomore album, The Cool, Lupe rarely fails to impress. Enemy Of The State does not have original beats, which gives fans just one more thing to look forward to on Lasers. It is also presented in the truest of mixtape formats: cassette style (meaning that the whole tape plays as one track). Why are you still reading this? Go download the tape already!! PM me if you want the download link to this. I just heard it, and honestly, I think it's one of the best mixtapes I've heard in a long time. JYD
From what I've listened to so far, it's only average. First of all, most of the tracks are like 2 minutes long and there only about 10 tracks. So right there makes the mixtape not even close to "one of the best in a while." AtTheDriveIn
^ Have to agree. I got a chance to listen to it last night. While it is okay, it's only average, especially for Lupe. I also thought Kid Cudi's was much, much better. I think the beats not being original is a big thumbs down for the mixtape. Havnig said that, I liked a few songs on there; for one, I liked the Angels Remix and Popular Demand. Apart from those, everything else is listable, but easily forgetable. I can't wait for Lasers, though. I've been basically counting down the days for it.. haha.

He just put this out to get people hyped for L.A.S.E.R.S...obviously that entire album will be original beat wise, which will be sick... Lupe didn't really fit on some of the beats on this mixtape, but I am still excited for L.A.S.E.R.S.
