Sports on Thursday night. No deal is imminent, sources say, but talks were continuing. Parker, a 6-foot-6, is an unrestricted free agent after spending the past three seasons with the Raptors. He averaged 10.7 points and four rebounds last season. He was a first-round pick of the Nets in 1997, but spent most of his career in Europe. While it is an interesting rumor and I would love to see Anthony Parker playing on a contender, what do the Cavs even have to offer the Raptors? Nothing on their roster really jumps out at me as something that the Raptors could use. I guess Delonte West would be a decent fit on the Raptors, but would the Cavs be willing to give up West for Parker? West played a pretty pivitol role on the Cavs last season.
