Phightins Posted December 2, 2009 Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) Well, it's pretty clear that all the trade speculation in the middle of last season really affected his game. So I don't blame him. If I were in his spot I'd want to be traded by February too, so I'd have all of Spring Training to get settled in and pitch with a clear head all year, then deal with free agency next winter even if it means risking not getting dealt and one more year of pitching for Toronto and no playoffs.
