magicbalala245
Heat president Pat Riley has contacted Allen Iverson about joining Miami. Iverson, a former league MVP who has averaged 27.1 points over 13 seasons, might be willing to accept an offer of one or two seasons in what is expected to be a tight market. Iverson, 34, is coming off a rocky season in Detroit that ended with complaints about his role. He left the team before the playoffs to treat a back injury. Although discussions with agent Leon Rose are believed to be in the initial stages, the Heat would likely be interested only if Iverson is willing to accept less than the full mid-level amount. So Heat fans pray that Iverson would except the full mid level
Flash
I wonder how this would work honestly. Not to sure this would work out seeing that Iverson and Wade both like to shoot. I'd give him at the most a 2 year deal.
JWaLL
Why would he go to the Heat.... I really don't get this. Would he be Wade's backup or would he start at the point over Chalmers? We've already seen that Iverson can't function well as a point guard.
His Greatness
Wade functions as the point guard, he's their primary playmaker.
SRV
Hes going to the Grizzlies anyways, we pretty much didn't reach a deal with him. The day will come where we meet with a FA and actually reach a deal on that same day. I don't think Iverson would fit anyways, Wade is the leader, Iverson will just take all his shots away.
