I took it once, didn't study got like a 1300 on it. I heard that's pretty good, I just relaxed and took my time on the questions.

Yeah, I didn't plan on studying since I didn't think it would help considering there's going to be a while bunch of different stuff on it.

Just remember the hardest questions are the last 3-4 in every section if you do not know them skip them, that also goes for every other question. If you asnwer wrong you lose more points than skipping it so guessing is not really a good thing.

I took it once really did not care what I got I just had to take it because I had to have it on record to go to UNR. Got around 1500, the test for the most part was simple.

Lol either we have the smartest group of kids in the world here or they are talking about getting 1500 on all 3 parts. My advice would be to get a good nights sleep. When you wake up tomorrow have a very good breakfast and go in relax and take it like you would any other test.

Huh?

The most you can get on each part is 800....so when someone says 1500 it would abviously mean all together lol.

Well most people only give their score out 1600 because thats only what colleges look at. Like modest bigdog who says he got a 1300 which on math and reading is very high and would get you into a lot of colleges.

I am sure bigdog was talking about 1300 out of 2400.

My score was horrible. I remember walking in a bit confident, yet a bit clueless, considering I hardly studied. I don't know why I seriously thought I was going to do well. Well I expected to do very well within language arts, since math is definitely not my forté. I ended up doing ehhhh on all the sections. My score was in the low 1400-range, out of 2400, by the way. Man imagine it was 1600 still :( I would've been so happy to see a 1400something out of that on my score report. Would feel soooo smartttt like never before.

Wow you guys must not really get too into school/studying, you guys don't sound too serious about it. I'm looking to get at least an 1800, but am taking lots of courses. I can't imagine going in knowing nothing, what are you guys majoring in?

It has nothing to do with your major, it's a standardized test colleges just want. Once your in a school the SAT has no more relevance.
