MainEv3nt
Philadelphia general manager Ed Stefanski says that recently-signed guard Allen Iverson was not guaranteed a starting spot with the club. "No one guaranteed Allen would start here, or that he would play X number of minutes," Stefanski said on Thursday. "I didn't bring him here to add depth, I'm bringing Allen Iverson back here to help us on the court to win basketball games." Iverson wasn't happy coming off the bench in either Detroit or Memphis, but says that he isn't interested in proving anybody wrong. "I don't want to prove anybody wrong, I'm not in it for that," Iverson said. "But if I can help my team win basketball games the way my coach wants me to help, I'll be satisfied." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/63196/20091204/stefanski_iverson_wasnt_guaranteed_starting_spot/ and it begins! Cobb
Interesting, although I can't see him not starting.

kingfish
I think Eddie Jordan might just be stupid enough to do it.
Sun Tzu
Why wouldn't the Sixers not want to start him? I can't imagine Lou Williams starting over Iverson.
NJNJ
I don't believe it ha. But we'll just have to see how things go when Iverson starts playing. But then again, anything to help win games I guess.
Smitty
I'd go with an Iverson/Holiday backcourt first, then switch Holiday with Lou when he comes back.
Phightins
Holiday hurt his shoulder in practice.
