Poe
Mac. It's easier, less viruses, runs smoothly, and I hardly ever get any problems with it.

The Truth
That's why I prefer the Mac. I could care less about games.
fly3rs18
pc easily. a bunch of my friends have macs and the only advantage it has is a great touchpad. but it is more expensive by far and doesnt work with all programs. you rarely see people who are good with computers have a mac. there is a reason why people install windows on their mac but dont install osx on their pc
Flash
I love my mac and HATE Windows. I think Windows sucks personally but that's just me.
Poe
Mac is much better for the casual user. If you want to be able to just turn on your computer and find or do what you want quickly without any issues or frustrations, then Mac is for you. If you want to completely customize your computer and have it be able to run anything you want, then PC is for you. I've had a PC for a while, and believe me, going back to PC after getting used to Mac is very frustrating. I'm no computer expert, that's why. I just like to open my computer and just have it simply do what I want it to do. Edited December 6, 2009 by Poe
The Truth
Agreed. I'm in the same situation. I just like to go online, post on forums, check a few sites, and that's it. Mac is much better for that IMO.

andreusito
PC because I prefer better performance and I play gamesExactly. Everything is build for Windows. on Win-You won't get viruses if you don't do weird stuff-It will work just as good if you spend all the money you spend on a Mac
JYD
Apple laptops look extremely nice. We have them at school, and admittingly, like other Mac owners have stated, work well and are very smooth. I am now in the market for a new laptop (my dell inspiron 6000 works OK right now, somewhat slow however, missing the letter "T" on the keyboard, and is about 5-6 years old) and looking at the Apple Macbook prices REALLY turned me off to Apple. I can get a comparable Windows 7 laptop from Dell, or a HP from Best Buy for about half the price. It's worth it to me, yes the Apple's may be SLIGHTLY better, but not enough to be DOUBLE the price. Lkr
its the same exact hardware, Macs are just overpriced. Windows can do so much more too, you're not locked in. I agree that a Mac is good for someone that isn't good with computers however, which is why my grandma owns one
reno
PC easily, its cheaper, better hardware specs, more programs, can play games. Mac is just more "hip" i guess.
bigdog17k
Mac is just more "hip" i guess. Haha, it's not hip... it's just more pricey, and for people who don't care much about computers, and software.
papertrail
I use windows, but I really want a Macbook. I don't play games and I could get all the programs I use on a mac anyways.
