pc easily. a bunch of my friends have macs and the only advantage it has is a great touchpad. but it is more expensive by far and doesnt work with all programs. you rarely see people who are good with computers have a mac.

there is a reason why people install windows on their mac but dont install osx on their pc

Mac is much better for the casual user. If you want to be able to just turn on your computer and find or do what you want quickly without any issues or frustrations, then Mac is for you. If you want to completely customize your computer and have it be able to run anything you want, then PC is for you.

I've had a PC for a while, and believe me, going back to PC after getting used to Mac is very frustrating. I'm no computer expert, that's why. I just like to open my computer and just have it simply do what I want it to do.

Apple laptops look extremely nice. We have them at school, and admittingly, like other Mac owners have stated, work well and are very smooth.

I am now in the market for a new laptop (my dell inspiron 6000 works OK right now, somewhat slow however, missing the letter "T" on the keyboard, and is about 5-6 years old) and looking at the Apple Macbook prices REALLY turned me off to Apple. I can get a comparable Windows 7 laptop from Dell, or a HP from Best Buy for about half the price. It's worth it to me, yes the Apple's may be SLIGHTLY better, but not enough to be DOUBLE the price.

ill pretty much agree with that. if you are just doing basic internet browsing and other basic things and you have the money to spend then why not get a mac. also mac is better for art/music stuff usually. but besides that its pc no doubt. for me for example, i have to run a few different engineering programs, which are usually only for pc. everyone with a mac has to set up bootcamp or try to find a different version of the program.

so very basic stuff go with a mac, but anything more then that, there is little reason to get a mac

its the same exact hardware, Macs are just overpriced. Windows can do so much more too, you're not locked in. I agree that a Mac is good for someone that isn't good with computers however, which is why my grandma owns one ;)

No I really prefer PC's just because I'm most familiar with tweaking them.
