When Brook Lopez put up 31 points and 14 rebounds Friday, it was the third time in his career, second time this season, he’s broken 30 and 10. That puts him in rare company for a 21-year-old center. Basketball Reference, whose data goes back to 1986, reports only five other centers Lopez’s age have put up 30 and 10 games. Only two of them did it more often: Shaquille O’Neal, 11 times, and Dwight Howard, four.

They better hold on to this kid. A young center who puts up big numbers is an extreme rarity in the NBA nowadays. If they can sign a superstar, guys like Harris and Lopez will be great compliments.

Who knows, possibly better then Tim? We need someone to better set him up, Harris is doing well though.
