damien
He made the announcement on Sunday morning before the game against the Lions. This time, the new name will be "Hachi Go," which is Japanese for "Eight Five." From Glenn S. Moore at The Dugout Sports Show: "I'm not sure how Mr. Goodell is going to take it," Ochocinco said as he held up the jersey. But why "Hachi Go"? A Japanese film crew was in town a couple weeks ago to do a piece on the Bengals for a NFL show over there. They said all NFL fans in Japan know who Chad Ochocinco is and they seriously made a proposal to Chad to change his last name to "Hachi Go". "Some fans of mine that are Japanese said I should change my last name to 'Hachi Go'." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Johnson-Ochocinco-quot-Hachi-Go-quot-Chad-p?urn=nfl,207862 lmfao Edited December 11, 2009 by damien

Yeah I really don't like him... he fined Chad 30k last week for wearing a sombrero on the sidelines for about 2 seconds.

La Bomba
This is starting to get annoying if you ask me. He's just an attention whore.
bigdog17k
This is starting to get annoying if you ask me. He's just an attention whore. Not really... he does it mostly for fans and Twitter followers. Most people like it. It's not like anybody is forcing you to watch/read what he does. You're playing into it then by commenting on it, if you feel it's annoying just ignore it. But that's me...

But that's me...It's not as easy as saying, "just ignore it." He's on the news all the time for his stupid antics that aren't really funny anyway. If ESPN would stop putting him on the news all the time it would be a lot easier to ignore him. He should just produce on the field on stop trying to get everyone's attention. He does most of this during games, if you're not a Bengals fan or the opposing team watching you probably don't see it. You might see a headline later about it on the NFL section of ESPN but it's never the front page story.

"Breaking News: Chad Ochocinco puts on a hat." He's always mentioned for his antics if not we wouldn't be talking about it right now. That's what he wants. Jenneral
I think the NFL needs more players like this. He obviously loves his job and just wants to have fun, regardless of how he does it. Chad's an entertainer and he'll do anything to keep the fans on his side. Also, I think he pretty much backed himself up this season as most people wrote him off. He's still a top 10 receiver in the league.
