Cobb
For some reason now and me a friend are having a problem connecting to each other's games, chats, etc.. Not sure what has changed but we've been playing together for a long time and now all the sudden we can't connect. For some reason when we restore our connection to factory default and then reconnect it works sometimes. Other times, it doesn't. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? If so, how did you fix it?

If so, how did you fix it? I've had this happen to me. Like the message "Can't connect to party" constantly pops up right? But mines was because my router sucked, so i got a new one. If you lag alot in games, it could be your connection. If not, idk.

I would assume it occurs on other games but I'm not 100% sure. My router is fine. I have a WRT54G Linksys Router and I think he has a similar model. We both have the same ISP also. fish7718
DWhite had this problem and posted in on the board already. It has to do with your NAT type, some people have Moderate (like me) and there are other settings. I don't know how to fix it though. If you find out please post. Poe
I had this problem on xbox 360 before. I forget what the name of my connection was, but I remember that the only way I could connect to certain people was to disconnect my wireless router and plug the xbox completely directly where I couldn't use wireless internet on my computer while I played xbox. It was weird. I think certain connections just don't get along or something.

Poe
The thing with me and my friend is that we practically have the same one. It's weird.Weird, I know. I'm no computer or internet expert of any kind so I have no idea what the source to the problem is. I remember not being able to connect directly with a certain friend, but I could connect indirectly if someone else was hosting the party or match. It's weird how I could talk and play with him that way, but directly it just wouldn't work.
Cobb
Just as I figured, no replies on the thread I made on the Xbox.com Forums. They're no help.
