Flash
So after the Heisman presentation ESPN 30 for 30 is presenting a movie about Miami's run of dominance in the 80's up to 1991. I for one, cannot wait to watch it because I never got to see those teams but they were the foundation of what our program is all about. The swagger and the anyone, anywhere mentality is what made The U so great. Its going to feature A TON of former players. Alonzo Highsmith, Bernie Kosar, Willis McGahee, Shockey, Vilma, Mike Irvin, Melvin Bratton and many others. It also features Jimmy Johnson and Erickson. Its a shame that Schnellenberger left for the USFL. We really would've had a chance to win them all had he stayed. Flash
Damn..now they're gonna start going into where we started getting NCAA sanctions and stuff like that. I heard they didn't make it to the 2001 team though. The GOAT college team imo.
La Bomba
These 30 for 30 documentaries are great. Some of the things those players did just made me flat out laugh. By far the cockiest teams if all time.
Cobb
I caught the tail end of it before I went to bed. During the Texas game, they had like 200+ penalty yards which is unheard of. I also like the guy who scored and ran into the tunnel and came out firing a "pistols".
Flash
It got pretty sad there at the end when they tore down the OB. That place was so amazing even if it was a dump lol. I'll never forget playing UF there in 2003 when Hester took back the opening kickoff for a TD and we scored 28 unanswered to win the game. Just some amazing times in that place.
