Teletopez
Growing pains Rookie Terrence Williams showed some immaturity early Friday but seemed to grow up by the end of the night. At the shootaround, a frustrated Williams had an attitude when reporters approached him about being benched the prior two games. “Let me ask you a question,” Williams said. “What do you guys get out of asking me these questions? You guys get a better story? You guys feel better about yourselves asking me these?”Asked if he'd rather the media not speak to him, Williams snapped back, “Yeah. Ask the coach, man.” After the game, Williams, who played Friday, apologized. It's been a bad week for Williams. He upset the organization by showing up late for Tuesday's shootaround in Chicago a day after posting things on his Twitter page that probably weren't in the best interest of the team. The other rookie Pacers rookie Tyler Hansbrough had his best pro game with a career-high 21 points and seven rebounds. The Nets strongly considered Hansbrough before taking Williams. Iannazzone I really hope these are just temporary rookie problems. Hopefully, Williams can pick it up on the court. He looked very promising in preseason and earlier this season, and it will be a shame to see him still struggling down the road after all his hard work this offseason. The Next Knick
He really pushed himself in the off-season, and is a really promising player. I hope it works out for him in NJ.
Klashnekoff
This is barely a concern for Nets fans. We all know that our team is good with working with younger players. I mean look at Sean Williams, i like the guy a TON and at some times feared for his job on the team but he is in his 3-4th year now with the same team after numerous trade talks.
