Mason, can't believe your just going along with all the critics saying Animal Collective is by far the best thing out there now.

Yeah Yeah Yeah's had a really great album in 09, I'll post some honorable mentions later maybe.

It's not that dude, I genuinely adore that entire album. The whole record is quality, and every track on it could probably make it on my best songs of the year list. No lie.

Though the album doesn't make my top list, I can admit it is a very good album, but it didn't hit me that certain way to make it top 10 or 5, but I see it's attractiveness.

Another top 5 with ease album I gotta add is Manners by Passion Pit, sick sick sick.. I like it more than Animal Collective's I would say

Yo Mason... the self-titled album by The Pains of Being Pure at Heart is a great great album.

Never heard of them, but I'll have a listen and give thoughts about the album and why MPP is better.

Can't believe no one mentioned Boy Meets World by Fashawn and US by Brother Ali.

Absolutely loved Fashawn. Us was good as well but nowhere near Brother Ali's best. Fashawn was my #3 Hip-Hop album this year behind P.O.S. and Raekwon. k-Os, Mos Def and Tanya Morgan follow those. Also the Doomtree EP False Hopes hit late but is amazing.
