Cobb
Soure: Chicago Breaking Sports News KMBC-TV in Kansas City reports: Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon said switching Missouri from the Big 12 Conference to the Big Ten should be examined. In an interview with KMBC's Micheal Mahoney at the Governor's Mansion, Nixon said, "I want to look at what options the Big Ten may have to offer." Nixon said he is impressed with the academics of the Big Ten. "This is not something that should be kept on the sports page and treated with the back of the hand," said Nixon. "We have an obligation to make our schools as excellent as they can be."Is this realistic? If so, who do you think would replace Missouri in the Big 12? What about the Big East and Pac-10. You guys think they'll eventually expand as well?

What about the Big East and Pac-10. You guys think they'll eventually expand as well? Geography speaking, it does make sense. Although the Big 10 is already skewed as it is, I don't think it would matter if Missouri made it's way into the Big 10. They've talked about expanding for quite a long time now. I think it would either possibly be Rutgers or Missouri. More or less Mizzou though. As for replacing Missouri in the Big 12, that's easy - TCU. I believe they're already re-allocating to the Big XII in 2012, so this just makes it all the more easier, and better for recruiting. Flash
Mizzou is gonna cause a ton of problems in the Big 10 with their offense IMO. Good move for both sides. TCU is definitely their replacement.
