What a day, I had a test in every class because everyone thought it would be a good idea to rush through a lesson in three days and then squeeze in a test, then I get home and my dog is crying in pain. So I take him to the vet, and he is still crying because the vet had no idea what was going on [He has a tumor in his foot and its wrapped up in bandages after the surgery to remove it]. So he replaces the bandage and I go home and my genius dog decides he would drag his body along the couch until the band came off, and sure enough he ripped it off without even using his mouth because he has a cone on. So now my parents had to take him to an animal hospital to get him checked out because he is acting weird as hell. Hope he comes back ok.

Basically the cancer is all over his leg, and only his leg. His leg is useless, he can't walk on it, its full of cancer, and its what is causing his pain. So the only option is to remove his leg or put him to sleep. We are going to do the leg thing because the vet saids after 2-3 days they learn to walk with just three legs, and basically the only part of his body with cancer is the leg, so if they remove that, he will be cancer free and happy, hopefully. I am pretty sad that I will have to see him with only three legs, but its for the best.

Plus, we don't have the heart to put him down. Until today he was always happy even with the tumor, he would still play around and stuff, but out of nowhere he just stared crying in pain and its sad to see that. Putting him down while he is like that instead of helping him would be sad.

I think that was the same for my dog, not too sure if he had a tumor in his leg but it had something to do with his leg and they did a surgery on it and put bandages. When he got home he already took them off by himself.

Sad to hear but the great things about dogs is that they can walk on 3 legs, I saw a dog on ripleys that ran on 2 legs. 1 on the front, 1 in the back.
