Would you guys recommend taking the AP US Test? I'm in that class right now and the test is in the Spring, which is kind of why I'm kind of skeptical on taking it since it's such a long layoff since I took it. Has anyone taking it? If so, was it hard, easy?

Don't expect anything with the letters "AP" in it to be easy. ;)

Yea, AP Spanish is easy..I got a 5 on it. We were supposed to talk into a tape recorder for 2 minutes about 2 essays we had to compare..I talked for 30 seconds and then took a 30 second pause and just read the 1st paragraph off the page and I still got a 5 lol.

Don't you HAVE to take the AP test if you have an AP class? That is really what the course prepares you for.

Hades (from Greek ᾍδης, Hadēs, originally Ἅιδης, Haidēs or Άΐδης, Aidēs, meaning "the unseen"[1][2]) refers both to the ancient Greek underworld, the abode of Hades, and to the god of the underworld. Hades in Homer referred just to the god; the genitive ᾍδου, Haidou, was an elision to denote locality: "[the house/dominion] of Hades". Eventually, the nominative, too, came to designate the abode of the dead.

In Greek mythology, Hades and his brothers Zeus and Poseidon defeated the Titans and claimed rulership over the universe ruling the underworld, air, and sea, respectively; the solid earth, long the province of Gaia, was available to all three concurrently. Because of his association with the underworld, Hades is often interpreted by moderns as the Grim Reaper, even though he was not.

By the Romans Hades was called Pluto, from his Greek epithet Πλούτων Ploutōn (πλοῦτος, wealth), meaning "Rich One". In Roman mythology, Hades/Pluto was called Dis Pater and Orcus. The corresponding Etruscan god was Aita. Symbols associated with him are the Helm of Darkness and the three-headed dog, Cerberus.

In Christian theology, the term hades refers to the abode of the dead, a parallel of Sheol that in English is also called Hell, where the dead await Judgment Day, either at peace or in torment (see Hades in Christianity below).

Weirdddddd.

You don't have to take the exam but yes, that is the purpose of the whole thing.

These last 2 days have been great. I got a nice SAT score, I got a 125% and a 100% on math quizzes, a 98% on an honors physiology test, and today I did nothing but watch movies in school because 4 of my teachers were not there.

My neighborhood sucks for Halloween now..when I was younger, everyone was on the street, all ages, and everyone had their friends there as well. Now I just went outside my house to move the car, and the neighborhood is pitch black and no one is walking around..I have only had like 3 kids knock on my door so far.

Some house even used to do a full blown haunted house, and now its just smiling pumpkins and stuff.
