Poe
As this current decade comes to a close, it turns out Kobe may have arguably been the best player of this decade. My question here is, out of all the young talent, who do you predict will eventually become the best player between the years 2010 and 2019? Owner Real Deal Posted December 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 Safest bet is LeBron.
His Greatness
LeBron, with Durant probably looming behind.
Poe
Safest bet is LeBron.I think KD has got a good chance, too. He's doing extremely good for his age, he seems to be much more mature of a person than LeBron, and also unlike LBJ, he's got a young team that will grow with him. Flash
I'm gonna say Durant. His offensive game is already ridiculous as it is but I think he'll develop into the best offensive player in the league within 5 years.
Check my Stats
LeBron will probably have the most titles but KD and Melo are going to be right there because they are gonna fill it up. Durant has a shot if he becomes a more complete player, this IS only his 3rd year and he and his team are both making strides each year. I still don't see Durant as much more than a guy who just scores, but then again I don't watch him particularly close so I could be way off base. All I know is that he is a stud. ^^To the above he is already a top 3 scorer in the league, only Melo and Kobe can probably score in the variety of ways KD already can. Check my Stats
Woah at Andrew Bynum being on the list wtf LOL. He is a 2nd option player at best on a championship team. Get that [expletive] outta here.

Get that [expletive] outta here. Most centers take time to develop. He's only 22 years old, and would easily be a 20 and 10 player this year in any other team other than the Lakers, where he is already in their plans as their franchise center. I think by his prime, he will at LEAST be a top 5 player in the league.
ChosenOne
Gotta have to go with LeBron. No Wade on this list?
Warren2ThaG
LeBron, Roy should be on the list too.
Poe
Well then, I guess I should update Granger, Lopez, and Griffin, too? Roy is good, but I just can't see him becoming the best... I'll go ahead and update him. BTW, I actually completely forgot to put Wade in too. JWaLL
Lebron and Wade. Wish I could vote for both, but I guess I'll stay safe and go with Lebron.

Legacy
So many more players should be up there rather than Bynum.
kingfish
Durant. I think Durant will eventually become better then Lebron, especially in the 2nd half of the decade. And neither will have any playoff success, so it will probably be Durant. Hes already a terrific scorer and improving, and hes starting to use his long arms for rebounds, blocks, and steals. His assists will probably depend on the team around him.

Check my Stats
So many more players should be up there rather than Bynum. Seriously..... people calling him a top player down the road are being crazy IMO. Bynum is nice, better than I ever expected after that ridiculous extension he received. But he will never be any higher level than Chris Bosh who no one considers a top player of the decade or whatever.

Poe
I added in Al Jefferson, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams. That's all I'll be adding. If anyone else comes to mind that you truly believe will be the best player, then just choose the "other" option.

Check my Stats
I honestly can't believe that the same number of people think KD will be the best player in the league as LeBron. Wayyy too much LeBron hate on this board. Durant is nice but LeBron in his 3rd year was an MVP candidate leading a terrible team to 50 wins, at that point he was leaps and bounds ahead of KD and still is. KD is a beast, but LeBron is going to be the face of the NBA in 5 years whether you Laker fans like it or not. Kobe might still be on a contending team but LeBron will be the best player in the league if he already isn't.

Bron hasn't shown me any indication that he can lead the NBA into the next decade. What's Bron going to do once he loses a step? He'll have a nervous breakdown because he can't have his way anymore. Bron has proven to be overly dependent on his physical tools while ignoring the finer parts of the game. That's why people are picking Durant. Durant at this time is more skilled than Bron. Durant just hasn't fully matured physically. You must have some type of deep hate for Laker fans. I just call it like it is.

The man has a lot of years ahead of him in the league. And don't be pointing someone out for being a supposed "Laker hater" when all of your posts consist of "Lebron hating". Instead of saying why Lebron WON'T be the player of the next decade, why not argue why Durant will besides saying "Durant is more skilled". Your posts continue to highlight your clear lack of knowledge for the game. You hold a grudge on a player you don't like and attempt to use that in every argument you make.

My clear lack of knowledge of the game? OK man. Done discussing with you. You have failed time and time again to debate with attacking. You are the one who lack knowledge. If you had it you would present it in an argument instead of these weak punches you keep trying to throw at me. The guy above is the one who called out Laker fans. Or did you miss that?
