JWaLL
My clear lack of knowledge of the game? OK man. Done discussing with you. You have failed time and time again to debate with attacking. You are the one who lack knowledge. If you had it you would present it in an argument instead of these weak punches you keep trying to throw at me. The guy above is the one who called out Laker fans. Or did you miss that?Lol.... I'm attacking? I lack knowledge? I believe my responses to your pointless statements are pretty well supported. Don't ever say I don't have NBA knowledge, especially coming from someone who probably watches one out of every three Lakers games on their local TV station. Nothing I have given you in either topic is a weak punch. The fact that you said "Done discussing with you" shows that you have run out of "points" to argue with me. To put it simply, you have been owned.

Check my Stats
Your hate for LeBron's attitude is fine because I agree with some of the points you make about that. But to let your annoyance of his attitude blind you from what he has accomplished and what he is capable makes you either ignorant. LeBron can affect the game in so many more ways Durant can. No player LeBron's size has the court vision, or the ability to throw the passes he does. You act like he is Dwight Howard of wings, but he actually has tremendous skill. Quit letting your opinion of his personality affect your opinion of LeBron the basketball player. EDIT- Fine take LeBron's athleticism away, he still has his passing ability and his shot is underrated. Stop acting like he will be immature when he is 30 years old. He could be Magic Johnson if he had some actual talent on his team to pass to consistently. He is only forced to score as much as he does because no one else can, LeBron is unselfish and could probably average 10+ APG with a competent supporting cast offensively. Larry Hughes/Drew Gooden/Eric Snow/Sasha Pavlovic went to the finals on LeBron James back, ask yourself how much worse is this team than Kobe's a few years ago? It is obviously worse but not a championship team, that squad doesn't win 20 without LeBron. Edited December 23, 2009 by travesy3
His Greatness
LeBron right now is playing at a level that Durant is going to peak at. We haven't even seen LeBron's ceiling yet.
Cleveland's Finest
I can't believe this......LeBron James is ten times the player Durant will ever be. That's saying something about LeBron, not putting down Durant. Durant hasn't shown any sign of LeBron yet...Seriously, look at what LeBron has done in the playoffs (Eastern Finals vs. Detroit, every time we've made the playoffs he's gone past the 1st round, his game 7 vs. Boston). LeBron is an established MVP. Kevin Durant is like Melo imo....He's stronger but until he shows to me what he can do you guys shouldn't even be hating LeBron like you are. It's becoming a joke now. LeBron is the best in the NBA, leading the league in points, rebounds, and assists when combined. He's the most multifaceted player that shows in his complete game. Durant is just in his second year and for all we know he might've peaked. Meanwhile we see LeBron shoot even better and pass better and become an even bigger star. Durant's pure talent trumps Bron. Bron plays off 85% athleticism while Durant relies on developing his pure skill. Lebron has already peaked. You people are saying Bron is going to get better? Well tell me how. Are you guys telling me that in the future everytime Bron shoots he'll reverse damage to the ozone and resurrect the dead? How is he going to get better? His game is his game. Check my Stats
Yeah, LeBron has no pure skill. You don't get 8 assists a game as a small forward if you have 'no skill'. LeBron has more skill than anyone in the NBA besides Kobe because no one can affect the game in the number of ways LeBron can.

Guys like Durant have already been putting in the groundwork to help them play for many years. Bron's game doesn't have staying power and you'll see it start to crop up once he loses some speed. -You know this how? LeBron can score pretty much anyway possible, but as a SF/SG why would a primary concern be offensive post play? Just curious.-Yes because 80% is worth scoffing at. Typical stupidity.-Umm, at his frame I am sure that everyone is absolutely dying to get in the post with him. You act as if he is a PF, LeBron is going to be playing guys that are 6'8 and like 215, he is consistently at an advantage in anything involving strength-Is this serious? He was a defensive first teamer last year, due in large part to the fact that he helped lead a top 3 defensive team in the NBA. To say he can't defend his position, small forward specifically, is absolutely ignorant.-And where has this conclusion been drawn from? The 20 games he has played with Shaquille O'Neal? Please....-Yes, because this is a fact. Actually wait, LeBron is supposed to play off the ball? Why would the Cavaliers have Delonte West or Mo Williams hold the ball when they have the most dangerous player on his team? He holds the ball because he is pretty much the only one on the Cavs who can create for himself and others. I am sure he could play off the ball with another competent wing on his team, or an actual star at his side. Your 'points', if you even want to call them that seem to be based more on assumptions or opinions than actualities and facts. LeBron is talented, to say otherwise is absurd. LeBron now is better than Durant will ever be, because Durant can not carry the ball up the floor 30 times a game, Durant cannot affect the game defensively like LeBron can. Durant doesn't use his physical gifts (length and size) to the same extent LeBron is able to. The only thing I have yet to see you use would be the empty, 'he isn't a winner' or 'he isn't clutch' claim. Honestly, your hate for LeBron is so ridiculous. I never said Bron wasn't a great player either. His game just doesn't have the staying power of Kevin Durant or any other player who relies on pure skill versus brute strength and speed. Eventually Bron will lose some of the the speed and won't have the skill to rely on because he doesn't spend time developing it. Sure Bron affects the game. The results are clear. But they won't last into the next decade when guys like Durant,Tyreke, and Roy are relying on skill versus being a brute.

Every post you have made so far has clearly insinuated that you think Lebron is a sub-par player compared to how he is perceived. How does he not have the "staying power" of Kevin Durant? Lebron is all power. Durant is a great player, but he probably won't ever surpass Lebron's skill that he has RIGHT NOW. Eventually ALL players will lose some of their speed and won't have the skill to rely on. Are you basically saying Lebron isn't a hard worker? You keep making these ridiculous assumptions, such as the one you just made; "he doesn't spend time developing it." Now you're saying he affects the game and the results show? In the other thread you said he was a cancer to his team, which means he makes his team WORSE than it should be. You really think a team lead by Mo, Delonte, and Shaq would be better than all of them having Lebron? That was by far THE dumbest thing I've read in the last week. Now I respect your opinion of thinking Durant, Tyreke, and Roy will be great players in this upcoming decade, but your stubborn posts saying, to put simply, that Lebron is not a great player and will decline quickly is absolutely ridiculous. No one can deny Lebron's talent, not even a Wizards fan like myself. Edited December 23, 2009 by Gil-Zero

Dude was responsible for like 100 posts today. He was only here to blast LeBron and to take shots at non-Lakers fans. It was only going to get worse, as he was suspended a few times on TheLakersNation (the site I administrated for) for fighting with members. I don't have time for it. When I get 3-4 members messaging me about him trolling, and my admin already warns him and it's my turn to step in, I don't care if the member posted 3,000 times in a day. No amount of posts are worth the trouble.
