BlueDevil
After his monumental 32 pt, 24 rebound game against the Nuggets, I've officially decided that i was wrong, and Zach Randolph is in fact a great pickup by the Grizzlies. he has been fairly solid all season, keeping the Grizzlies in games they usually squandered last season. With the emergence of Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo's continued growth, the Grizz look to be in a position to battle for a playoff spot, or at least a respectable record. Thoughts? Poe
I figured that Zach would be a ball stopper on the offensive end, a very poor defender on the other, and just another attitude for the coach to deal with. It turns out Zach and Gasol are a fantastic rebounding duo, plus their inside scoring together has been great. I haven't been paying a whole lot of attention to the Grizzlies, but it would seem that Zach has become less a ball stopper and is scoring within the offense. Assist numbers are rather low for the whole team, so I could be wrong. He has at least seemed to drop the attitude and become more of a "team player". Check my Stats
I haven't watched him so I don't know how he is playing in terms of being a team player. But his stats are what they always are so I don't see why you would be surprised by that. In fact he is having a worse season, statistically, than last year BUT is playing much more efficiently so that could speak about the type of player he has been this year. But overall he is really solid player and has been 20-10 year in year out for half a decade now. Not sure why anyone would be surprised by his play besides maybe his efficiency. La Bomba
When Randolph came to Memphis, all I heard was how lazy, unmotivated, and cancerous he was. When I see him play he works his [expletive] off to get rebounds on both ends, and works extremely hard to get positioning. He seems to have taken a role as a mentor as well. When Hasheem Thabeet is in the game and makes mistakes, Randolph quickly and calmly takes him under his shoulder and talks to him. Randolph said he was ready to "start a new chapter" in Memphis. He seems like he has done so and he's the key reason to the Grizzlies success.

Ever since then we are only two games behind .500 for the year and we've beating top notch teams like the Mavs, Cavs, and Nuggets.
ChosenOne
Yes he has played very well so far, sometimes he get carried away after a couple of made baskets and takes a couple of dumbass ones but for the most part he has been very helpful for the Memphis.
