Legacy
How big of a chance do you think Monta Ellis has of being in the all-star game this season? He's played great this year, but the west guards are stacked. Could he make it in as a reserve? Will the Warriors have their first all-star in the past 12 seasons in Ellis? ChosenOne
I think he actually has a good shot to make it, he has played great so far this season.
Check my Stats
I didn't even know he was dropping 25 a game this year until I looked at the PPG leaders in the West an hour ago. Durant got left off last year so I think Monta will probably get overlooked this year. If the Warriors were in the hunt for the playoffs it would probably be a different story, he definitely should get a look though.
The Regime
he takes the place of Chris Paul in the all-star game imo

Erick Blasco
I think he actually has a good shot to make it, he has played great so far this season. I think Monta's leading the league in turnovers and he's defenseless. With all the uber point guards out West playing for better teams, I don't think this is Ellis' year. Nash, Paul, Williams, and Kobe, Roy, and maybe T-Mac if he gets enough votes will be guaranteed. That's 6 players. Then, Duncan, Dirk, Durant, Anthony, and Gasol will also be locks. After that, Bynum, Boozer, Aldridge, Parker, Artest, Evans, Ariza, Randolph, Jefferson, Landry and Ellis will be battling it out for the final spot. I don't think a player on a seven-win team deserves to win it with that kind of competition.

Legacy
Stephen Curry's pretty good!haha Ellis has actually been a good defender this season, except for the Wizards game. Mayo had 22 points the other night, but he only had 8 with Ellis in the game and defending him. He also did a good job against Brandon Roy and Kevin Durant. Erick Blasco
But lets not forget, the guys that are 2,3, and 4 is to's 2. LeBron James3. Steve Nash4. Kevin Durant James and Durant score more, James and Nash have more assists, James and Nash have better shooting percentages, James plays much better defense, and James and Nash are transcendent offensive playmakers. You can argue Ellis and Durant but most people would argue that Durant is the better scorer. Most importantly, all three play for teams significantly better than the Warriors.
