Question about the Heat

I'm gonna be completely honest: I haven't watched much NBA action this season, been too busy unfortunately. But something I don't understand is the media making it out that Wade wants out and he has a bad team. From what I've seen, Beasley is a good player in his second year. He's not putting up monster numbers, but 16/7 a night isn't bad. Chalmers is a nice role player, someone I wish the Lakers had. Haslem is getting his average numbers from years past. O'Neal when healthy is close to a double double. Quentin Richardson is another nice role player.

These are based off of stats and from what I've watched. Now what I want to know is, what is there for Wade to complain about? The head coach? He has a nice blend of talent around him, he isn't going to be in a better position in New York.

That's the media man. They sensationalize everything.

Fact is, Dwyane is banged up but we really cant afford to sit him too much. He's got a solid team around him. Michael is going to be a 20/10 guy very soon and Udonis is a great role player that any team could use. Arroyo is a good guard but not starting material and same with Rio. Q is a great guy to have and Dorell is becoming a great player.

I think a more pressing issue for Miami is that every time I see them, it looks like there are only 1000 people at the game

That's how a lot of Miami fans are /: It also doesn't help that our arena is in a place where there is so much to do that paying a ton of money to go watch basketball game isn't on the top of most people's lists. Whatever, at least I can't say I'm one of them.

We need to bring in another big name guy though. Whether it be Bosh, Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay or whomever; it needs to happen.

Wade hasn't spoken of a clear destination. I think he's just leaving his options open for this summer.. because he can. Where he'll go is just opinion at this point. Though, I think he has every reason to stay with the Heat. He has a great situation for him in Miami.

The only reason he should leave Miami is to join another superstar.

Some say he'll go to Chicago to join Derick Rose, but I honestly can't see that happening. Wade already has Beasley in Miami, plus the cap room to bring another all star over.

Some say he'll join LeBron or Bosh in New Jersey or New York. I can't see that happening, either. Why join a superstar in rebuilding teams when they can just join Wade in an already established playoff team in Miami?

So anyway, yes, Wade does have some nice role players here in Miami, plus some young guns that are establishing a part in this team's future plans. This team continues to get better and better each year. Personally, I think an all star caliber wing player is all that's needed to fully complete this team and become real contenders.

So far from what I've seen this year there's no reason he'd want to leave Miami if we can bring in a big name FA. New Jersey is a mess. You can bring in LeBron or John Wall but there's no depth there at all. New York is just as bad and D'Antoni's system won't win you a thing.

Miami has a very good young core with emerging players like Beasley and Wright mixed with solid veteran leadership in Wade, Haslem and J.O. Throw in a guy like Chris Bosh to the mix and you have a contender.

I think rather than go big we need to get a point guard and fast. Chalmers nor Arroyo aren't starting material and Arroyo has been much better than Rio this year.
