trutrojan8
Yeah, I've played both, and yeah, I'm not a fan boy of either. Live is better than 2K.
Poe
Live has better overall ball handling control, but 2K is much better in everything else. If 2K had better online servers, there would be no question which one is the better game.

trutrojan8
When I played live I felt like I was playing on my PS2 again lolFor me, the presentation is light years better than 2K, and the gameplay was about even. The one thing i didn't like was the fantasy draft. Soo unrealistic. My team is Jameer/Ariza/Melo/Oden/Dwight with J-Rich/Bynum/Brook Lopez/Westbrook coming off the bench haha. Poe
Gameplay >>>> Presentation. Live looks flashy, but 2K is the better game to play. I'm not trying to be biased at all and look to find excuses as to why 2K is better. Really, I WISH live was the better game. At least online gameplay works for them, and they didn't give buyers a broken game on release date.
trutrojan8
Another thing I don't like is whenever I post up, someone steals the ball from me. I must've gotten the ball stolen like 10 times in one quarter, and no matter how much I adjust the sliders, it won't stop.

JWaLL
I just got Live after having 2k for a few months, and wow it is so hard to play. I absolutely hate the gameplay and it is so unrealistic and robotic looking. Every time I pass to a player in the corner, it always says "OUT OF BOUNDS" because the receiving player's foot was on the line. Very frustrating and this makes ball movement extremely difficult. Also, it's really hard to switch between players, where in 2k all you have to do is press RB + the button of the player, and the buttons are always coordinated to the position that player is currently in. I just hate Live's gameplay, and I've tried giving it a chance multiple times. I just can't get used to it.
Poe
NBA 2k10 PC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2k10 console > LiveWhat's the difference between PC and console for 2K?
JWaLL
What's the difference between PC and console for 2K?I don't think there are roster updates for the PC, and I'm not even sure there is online play. But you can pretty much customize the PC version to be almost anything you want. Custom uniforms, replace the silhouettes of players without pictures with their actual picture (if you can find one), touch up on existing player faces to look more like their real life counterparts, etc.
Cleveland's Finest
It probably is better. I got 2k and haven't played it since I got it because the moment I start a game and try to get excited about it the game crashes and the framerate makes it totally unplayable.....so frustrating because the game would be so fun but I can't play it when it can't be played....miserable waste of 60 bucks. Smitty
There IS Roster Updates and Online for PC. Why wouldn't it have it? The PC versions of games 9x out of 10 are gonna have the same, if not more features than the consoles. And you can add/modify so many things to the PC version that trounces the console versions easily.

Smitty
PC is like $20. Amazing bargin. I don't know if there's a PC version of Live this year tbh....they used to do a PC port(which was like one the most heavily modded game series out there)

La Bomba
2K10 is loaded with glitches and gets repetitive after a while, plus I can never play online and when I do people always quit. With that said, I played the Live demo and it was horrible.
OSUBucksfan09
If Live is like college hoops in the handling aspect I disagree, there is no post game without two things happening in NCAA BAsketball 2010, which are loss of the ball or missed easy shot. MainEv3nt
live is dumb trash. i got the game from gamefly an played cavs vs bucks. joel alexander blocked lebron 4 times ALLLLLLLLLLLL in a row. only bad thing bout 2k is the servers. there play is LIGHTYEARS ahead of live. the dribbling is better on 2k also. live lighting sucks so bad. lebron is mad light an stuff. OSUBucksfan09
Only thing I like bout live that I am use to (well from NCAA Basketball but still) is the whole dribbling controlled by the right stick. Only thing I like better.
EastCoastNiner
I haven't played NBA Live this year, but the people that say NBA 2k10 has great gameplay must like one of the most unrealistic sports games ever created. Seriously, it's way too easy to score with any PF. It doesn't make a difference for "Big Men" in this game because they can all do pretty much the same [expletive], and the superstar players get ever shot inside. Not to mention the retarded alley-oops. I've seen Shaq throw a full court alley-oop to Chris Paul............
Smitty
They fixed the alley-oop fest, though.

Only thing I like better. You can change your controller settings in 2K to having ball handling with the right stick. BTW, the alleys were fixed with the patch, and so was the inside scoring (well, mostly... still needs more fixing, IMO). I guess this problem will just exist for those who don't have xbox live.
