xx.
i can confirm, bay and mets do have agreement. good job by mike. Nice Mets.. real nice. Just hoping that since now he's in a Mets uniform he'll out of no where go into a terrible slump, like we've seen lately with our big time players edit; ESPN just reported it too, 4 year, 66 million dollar deal. fish7718
Hm... ReyesCastilloWrightBeltranBayMurphyFrancoeurCastro/Molina is what we are looking at right now, solid lineup, if the pitching comes through we can be great this year
EastCoastNiner
Have fun with him and his annual longgggggggggggggggg [expletive] slumps, and a ton of strikeouts. He will play great for a while, but when he hits a slump, it's awful.
Phightins
Lets not forget about his horrendous defense. He should have fun in that massive left field. But seriously, this is a huge upgrade for the Mets, but to expect them to contend now is kind of silly. Their roster still has a lot of holes. But yeah, compared to Murphy/Evans/Sheffield/whatever else they used last year, Jason Bay is clearly a huge upgrade. But he will not come close to matching what he did last year, or even his better years in Pittsburgh.
