The Artesticle
http://www.clevelandleader.com/files/nyjamesshoes.jpg http://www.clevelandleader.com/files/nyjamesshoes2.jpg There's no denying that superstar Cleveland Cavaliers forward Lebron James loves New York. The first tip-off to Clevelanders was the infamous wearing of the New York Yankees cap at an Indians playoff game. Since then, he's wasted no time reminding us all of just how much he loves NY, all while denying the ever-rampant rumors that he will be packing up and heading to the Big Apple when his contract in Cleveland expires at the end of this season. Leaked photos of an upcoming release of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low shoes send a clear message of love for NY, not the home of Rock n Roll or the town that supported him since his pre-NBA days. This season, Nike also revealed the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Hardwood Classic edition shoes, which to those unfamiliar with Cavs history and their former colors, might look like Knicks-themed shoes. But nope, the old Cavs used to sport jerseys that were bright blue with the orange block-letter Cavs, and since Lebron actually wore them with the old throwback jersey, little else was read into it.But the newest, yet-to-be released kicks are not only a bright orange and blue - the colors of the New York Knicks - but turning over the shoes also reveals an I "LOVE" NY message on the outsole, and inside on the insole is an L23 styled question mark. There's no doubt about the message that these shoes are sending. http://www.clevelandleader.com/node/12456 http://blog.cleveland.com/top_entertainment/2007/10/large_lebron.jpg http://www.yankeesdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/lebronjamesyankeehat.jpg http://jugones.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/lebron_spike_lee.jpg http://www4.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/NBA+Star+Saturday+Night+Performances+Celebrities+TjEufDh2oTCl.jpg http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/79814168.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=17A4AD9FDB9CF1935FB17706AA75D2010857446ED0EA51E1B01E70F2B3269972 http://farm1.static.flickr.com/35/72165966_a9ca0e31bf_b.jpg NY 2010 HERE WE COME!!!!!! :] http://blog.silive.com/sportsstories/2009/09/large_lebron-james-knicks.jpg http://media.silive.com/advance/price/photo/lebron-james-to-knicksjpg-1f6f96d0255e4ced_large.jpg http://sportpops.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Lebron_Knicks.jpg http://pdashmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/LeKnick.jpg http://www.judiciaryreport.com/images/david-stern-before.jpg LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Edited December 31, 2009 by Willie Green

Lebron is such a....man I cant even say it anymore. I would be so pissed if I were a Cavs fan, or the superstar of my team did that. Cavs fans are pretty desperate for not caring about this, but no more desperate then the Knicks fans who eat it up. Hes screwing with both cities right now. Lol, you're just packing it on because the Cavs just killed your championship team. Artest didn't stop LeBron and Kobe didn't get all of his star calls that usually bail the hollywood team out. We won both times last year yet you completely downplayed that when it happend, so just chill. January 21st we will get another rematch so wel see what happens. What you said has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. Im not sure why Lebron gets a free pass on this shoes issue, arent you at least a little bit pissed? Thats a huge slap in the face to Cleveland fans. The fact that he puts a question mark on the bottom of the shoe....that says it all. Art
That jersey switch is terrible. Those shoes are terrible as well but the question mark is funny. I strongly doubt he goes there though.

He's making other teams worse by making them think he'll go there. There are how many franchises desperate for him? And he would choose New York? The Miami theory is a joke....wherever he goes it'd take 3-4 years to become a perennial contender like he has with the Cavs now. He only leaves, however, possibly if we do win a title which is highly possible because this isn't last year when the Cavs lost to elite teams and they look like they are built for the playoffs. If he goes to Miami they'd be instant contenders I don't know how you could think otherwise. Like last year, the Cavs don't strike me as a team that has a championship type edge like LA did last year and Boston the year before. I think he does leave Cleveland after this year but who knows where to.
The Artesticle
Still judging your team off of regular season, I see. I thought you learned your lesson last year about overrating your team. Guess you're not that smart. Doesn't bother me though. It's gonna be fun watching all the Cleveland fans cry again when they fail in the postseason, yet again. I wonder what the excuse will be this time Edited January 1, 2010 by Willie Green

They are the only team in the NBA that has for the last 4 years of the playoffs, gone to the 2nd round every one of them. They went to the NBA Finals once, the ECF twice, and been eliminated in the 2nd round twice. And you are telling me this team isn't on the cusp of winning a title?
