NJNJ
Kings guard Kevin Martin's latest CT scan showed more improvement in his injured left wrist. He has a non-displaced hairline fracture of the navicular bone. The injury continues to heal, but there is no date for his return. Martin, who has been out since playing with the injury Nov. 4 against the Hawks, will be examined again Jan. 12.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 8, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 I wonder how many Kings fans really hope he gets dealt before the deadline? Sacramento looks more comfortable with Evans handling the ball.
Dash
^Kings front office still has faith that he can mesh with Evans. I'm not sure if they'd even be willing to trade him at the deadline unless the experiment is a total disaster.
ChosenOne
If him and Evans can play together it would be great for them. This news is also great for my fantasy team.
JohnWayne
Idk why Kings fans want to deal Martin... Dude if healthy is their best player, the combo of Martin/Evans is a nasty one! Evans/Martin/Noc/Thompson/Hawes is a really nice lineup!
Newman
The problem is that when Kevin Martin is their best player, the stats of the people surrounding him drops. Being a scorer, he takes potential shooting opportunities away from JT, Tyreke Evans, Nocioni and Hawes. It works when he makes 60% of the 20-25 shots but not when he makes just 20% of the shots.
