G=K
I'd pick New York - the problem is they'd probably be required to take Nate Robinson and why would Houston want the incarnate of Stevie Franchise? A similar situation with the Wiz... most Wizards fans I talk to (which is quite a few b/c they are my local team) want to get rid of Gil - I have a feeling that's a big consensus there, but why would Houston want that current train wreck? Dash
Knicks have nothing Houston wants. I wouldn't mind a trade with the Wizards as long as there is no Arenas/Jamison in the deal. Edited January 3, 2010 by Dash
G=K
Knicks have nothing Houston wants. I wouldn't mind a trade with the Wizards as long as there is no Arenas/Jamison in the deal. Jamison is playing at an all-star level with his 20 points and 8+ boards on a team where Arenas is shooting every time he touches the ball and Butler is just playing for a big contract. He could help out any team.

G=K
It depends on whether or not you'd want to spend $11 million on Luis Scola and then another $8 on Carl Landry next year or just take Jamison and one of Washington's $6 mill expirings. Either way I don't know if they Wizards would give up Jamison for McGrady unless they could move Gilbert and open themselves up for a sneak run in the FA market in the spring. Dash
You serious? Scola is no where near worth that much money. Morey will resign both to reasonable contracts like he always does. Stop trying to make a case for Jamison. In two years he will be a 35 year old being paid $15 million. DO NOT WANT.
G=K
do you know how many teams will want scola?

TheNextBestThing
Zero for $11 million. Too bad Isaiah Thomas is gone, I suppose.

B-Marsh>R-Moss
I'd trade to make a deal with Philly, try and get some young guys in return. I'll tell you this though, Tracy McGrady will be playing in a Magic uniform next season with his cousin Vinsanity.

AtTheDriveIn
mle? I'm quite certain we're over the luxury cap which stands at $69-70 million. A $5 million exception that the MLE is would actually cost the team itself $10 million because of the dollar per dollar rule that comes with being over the said luxury cap. Given McGrady's problems with his health and his countless injuries, I don't think the Magic would be willing to fork $10 million just so he can be with his 'cousin'. So as I said, unless he's signing for the minimum, he's not coming to Orlando. By the way, I think his contract runs past 2011-2012 anyway which means he'd have to be released or bought out (both of which are highly unlikely because of the enormity of his contract) from the team that trades for him now to even begin to think about signing elsewhere. Newman
He ain't going nowhere since it's pretty much impossible to find a deal that the Rockets will like.
