You got to know in the back of the mind that a penalty can give you a whole new set of downs. Green Bay is in due to some flukey plays they better show up in the 2nd half. Jenneral Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 I don't think we're going to have any problems scoring in the second half. Rodgers now knows what it's like in the playoffs. I expect him to settle down a bit. Grant has been great so far so our running isn't a problem, although we won't be running much until we trim the score. However it won't matter how much we score if we can't stop our opponent who is already up 14. We need to start wrapping up when tackling as well as getting our coverages correct. We're getting burned out there and then instead of tackling and getting it over with, 3-4 players are going for the strip and letting the ball carrier keep on trucking. Can't happen. We need a score here and then a stop (which seems unlikely at this point). As long as we can keep answering back, the Cards are bound to make a mistake on offense.
