B-Marsh>R-Moss
Marshall is putting up dominant stats as is Moss. Marshall is the much better blocker, he's the best blocking WR in the league, where as Moss isn't as good of a blocker as Marshall mainly because he isn't as strong and I guess you could say he doesn't care enough either. Marshall is much more versatile than Moss is. I mean from what I see, Moss is basically a deep threat and nothing more, the way I see it at least. Marshall is the best WR at getting YAC, especially for being a #1 Option WR, where as a guy like Wes Welker will get YAC since he is facing Linebackers and 2nd Corners. Marshall has more receptions than Moss, You could argue he gets force-fed, but then again you could argue the same for Moss especially that game against the Jets where he wanted to shut up Revis and he completely failed to do so. 8 of 13 interceptions thrown by Brady were intended to Moss. I could recall that 3 of those interceptions were made because Moss gave up on the play. Against the Saints, Panthers and Week 2 against the Jets by Revis. Only 4 of 12 interceptions thrown by Orton were intended to Marshall. You could argue all you want about Moss running deeper routes and being more of a risk, but he quit on 3 of those plays, which is only 1 less than how many interceptions intended to be thrown at Marshall. That's why I feel Marshall is better now, in their primes It was Moss though easily.
ChosenOne
I would agree Right now it would have to be Marshall but it would not even be close if you are taking about Moss in his prime.
The Regime
Brandon Marshall is my boy, is I'm going to agree with you. Moss doesnt have the same explosiveness that he had a couple seasons ago when he broke all those records with Brady, age has surely caught up to him. With that said Moss is still a top 5 WR in the league still, but Marshall is the better WR at this point in his career. btw unique name lol Edited January 6, 2010 by Confidence
reno
Marshal is having a better season and is obviously much younger than moss, but I would take a 25 year old moss over 25 year old marshal in a heartbeat. http://www.delawareonline.com/blogs/moss.jpg

Legacy
Strong username.lol. This is gonna be Dwight/Yao all over again. As for the discussion, when both players play to their full potential, it's Moss. Other than that, it's probably Marshall.
Flash
I'd still take Randy when he's at the top of his game. Even at this stage in his career.
The Great iBoldin
So what. So have about ten other receivers this year. And I'll take Welker or Fitzgerald to pick up more YAC then Marshall, because I don't care who Welker goes against, he makes people miss. When did dominating in the slot become a negative? The Artesticle
Who? Jumbo-Shrimp right?Nope, Randy Moss. The guy I'd take over Brandon Marshall the big cry baby. The guy who is stupid enough to get himself benched for the last game of the season, the most important game of the season. As immature as Randy Moss may be at times, Marshall has him beat. Hard to believe that's true, but it is. There are a lot of stupid people in the world, and Brandon Marshall is one of them. EastCoastNiner
There are a few major misconceptions is sports, and one of them is that Randy Moss doesn't give 100% effort. He has a bad game, and everyone thinks he isn't trying, even though he is, and he shut you haters up with a 3 TD game a few weeks ago. Also, I love how you bold the "motivated Randy Moss" statement someone made, and you are comparing Brandon "I don't give a [expletive], and I'm lazy as [expletive], and still not as good as Randy Moss" Marshall. . Hater's keep on hatin'.

Moss is a quitter and everybody's known that. If you want another example, go look at the NFC Championship game where they got toasted 41-0. Want more? Go look at his entire Raider Career... Moss is just like Vince Carter, He plays when he wants to play.

First off, any player will look like they aren't trying if they are on the Oakland Raiders, and do you know who was throwing Randy Moss the ball? Secondly, in a 41-0 game, very few people on the losing side are going to look like they are giving 100% after they fought all season long, and are then deflated, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Finally, I guess kicking the football during training camp, not doing anything positive during training camp, and not listening to your coach doesn't make you lazy or a "selfish player". . You're the same person that still thinks Champ Bailey is the best CB in the NFL. Give up already.
B-Marsh>R-Moss
First off, any player will look like they aren't trying if they are on the Oakland Raiders, and do you know who was throwing Randy Moss the ball?So basically your saying, It's ok to quit because he was on the Raiders. Ok, let me ask you this. Do firefighters quit because the fire is too big? Do cops quit because the criminal is too sneaky? Secondly, in a 41-0 game, very few people on the losing side are going to look like they are giving 100% after they fought all season long, and are then deflated, especially on the offensive side of the ball.In the Giants destruction of the Vikings in a playoff game a few years back he stopped running his routes after the 2nd qtr. People saying "well he's frustrated", wtf. I am not saying you need to play balls out when you are losing but you have nothing else you can do during the game, why not play. Finally, I guess kicking the football during training camp, not doing anything positive during training camp, and not listening to your coach doesn't make you lazy or a "selfish player". .No excuses, but he still did a hell of a job this season up until the Eagles game. You're the same person that still thinks Champ Bailey is the best CB in the NFL. He's not even close to being the best CB in the NFL, I think he's one of the biggest morons in the league. Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson were in the poll for best WR in the league and I think Marshall won, and I remember Shannon Sharpe argued for him. Didn't see Moss there.
