Newman
2009 NBA Draft is one filled with quality point guards. After a few months it is clear that Brandon Jennings and Tyreke Evans are at another level comparing to the rest of the point guard with them being the star of their team respectively. But here comes the question, who would be the third best PG of the draft as of your post? Would it be Stephen Curry of the Warriors, Jonny Flynn of the T'Wolves or Ty Lawson of the Nuggets or maybe even another point guard such as Darren Collison of the Hornets? It's your call. BlueDevil
Jonny Flynn has all the tools to succeed in the NBA. give the guy a break, hes on the wolves! if he went somewhere else, he would have better numbers. maybe not as good as evans and jennings, but he wouldnt be playing in the triangle, which is what is hurting him the most. Doc
Id go with Flynn too. Beating out Session a pretty good PG for the starting job and putting up good numbers in a system like what bluedevil said, the wrong system. If he was put in a system like the Suns, he might be beating out Jennings or Evans. Such a quick player with a dec jumper.
ChosenOne
Curry, he is a dead on shooter something you need from your pg, has better vision than he is given credit for, and also is on the Warriors where the only offense they have is five out. Lone Wolf
Flynn would score more points if he would shoot more often. He's only getting 29.5 MPG which hurts his playing time. The triangle is all about ball movement. If the Wolves were playing the pick n' roll, Flynn would get more assists.
B-Marsh>R-Moss
How I'd rank them.. 1. Flynn2. Lawson3. Curry I don't think Curry has as much potential as those other guys do. He's just too one-dimensional. He's basically useless if he's not making jumpers, that's not the same for those other two. I never thought highly of Curry and I still don't. Sun Tzu
1. Jonny Flynn - Like most have said, he should be placed in a up-tempo system where he fits.2. Ty Lawson - Impressive and definitely a steal for the Nuggets.3. Stephen Curry - His just not playing up to expectations right now.
