magicbalala245
In an effort to entice point guard Mike Bibby to join the 76ers, team president and general manager Ed Stefanski offered the Atlanta Hawks' free agent a one-year deal this week, said a source who was close to the situation. But Bibby apparently wasn't interested and ruled out the Sixers on Thursday. With his own free-agent point guard, Andre Miller, apparently shopping his services, Stefanski is seeking a player who can run the team next season while 2009 first-round draft pick Jrue Holiday develops. However, a Miller return is not out of the question. Stefanski spoke with Miller's agent Wednesday, when NBA free agency began, and another source said the two had gotten nowhere. Miller is believed to be seeking a three-year deal for an annual $10 million, his salary last season. His Greatness
Miller is believed to be seeking a three-year deal for an annual $10 million, his salary last season. No thanks. He should be getting $7-8 mil. on two years, at the max. I'd be willing to give three years to Bibby, but apparently he's already re-signed with Atlanta. Diesel
Bibby would be awesome on this team. I'm guessing Stefanski's gameplan was to try and sell him a one year MLE offer and then up his contract after that one year with the Bird rights. Of course should Bibby end up sucking greatly it would screw him over as he wouldn't get resigned for anything more so he isn't going to do that. Good try though lol
