bigdog17k
http://www.rotoworld.com/images/photos/NFL/CLE/NFL_Cribbs_small.jpgCribbs 'insulted' by Browns' latest proposalAccording to his agent, Josh Cribbs is "insulted" by the Browns' latest contract offer of $1.4 million annually and is threatening to leave the team. "They need to treat him fairly or he'll never play for the Browns again," said the agent. "He will demand a trade and he will walk out of there and they won't see him for the offseason -- they won't see him ever again." Cribbs' camp also claims that Eric Mangini promised him a new contract "by the end of the season." Cribbs believes he's worth at least $2.8-$3.2 million a year. Source They should probably just pay the guy whatever he wants.
The Regime
$1.4 million that is ludacris. He should be making Devin Hester money.
Cobb
I agree with the man. He's the only bright spot on the team.
La Bomba
He's only a return man and plays special teams. He hasn't really made a ton of progress at wide receiver ethier.
reno
Man I feel really bad for Cribbs, how horrible it may feel to be offered 1.4 million dollars a year to play a sport. damn browns, pay this guy real money, think of his wife and kids! He needs to be able to put food on the table.
The Regime
He's only a return man and plays special teams. He hasn't really made a ton of progress at wide receiver ethier. If you watched them play the second half of the season, you would know that he is the most crucial weapon in their offense. They ran a bunch of end around and a bunch of plays out of the wildcat with success. Imo he deserves a better contract than Hester. Hester only returns punts and I dont think he ran one back this season.
bigdog17k
Yeah, IMO Cribbs is the only thing that makes the Browns a dangerous team to face right now. If he leaves and goes someplace else it will just delay Clevelands chances of becoming a better ball team that much more. Pay the guy. Guest The Situation
I agree with the man. He's the only bright spot on the team. Jerome Harrison too
Cleveland's Finest
I agree with the man. He's the only bright spot on the team. We still got Shaun Rogers, Joe Thomas, D'qwell Jackson, and Jerome Harrison, so he's not the only bright spot. This guy is a player that could get any team over the hump and turn them into contenders. We must keep him. He is vital to our success and he is the fanbase's favorite player. They'll resign him so I'm not worried. He isn't gonna leave.
The Regime
^Doesn't look like it. Browns Pro Bowl all-purpose star Josh Cribbs cleaned out his locker in Berea Thursday, said his good-byes and told The Plain Dealer he feels like he's played his last down of football for the Cleveland Browns. http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/142711-cribbs-thinks-hes-done-with-browns?eref=fromSI

Jenneral
Good. He belongs on a winner anyway. He's truly a young talent and if the front office can't see it, someone else surely will.
Cleveland's Finest
Trust me, he isn't going. I read his twitter all the time and he said it's up to the boss in charge, and later he praised browns fans for being the best fans. He loves this city. It always seems like he'll leave due to the contract stuff, but it will work out.

Of course he's going to do that. Most players that want more money do. Whether he likes the fans/city or not, he's going to say what they want to hear so they embrace him and he ultimately gets more money. Just the way it works.
