The Regime
Yates High School in Houston already had proven it could score a lot of points, topping the century mark five times in its first 13 games. Tuesday night the team topped itself - scoring 100 points in the first half on the way to a 170-35 victory over Houston (Lee) High. The totals - both at the half and for the game - broke state records in Texas. The 100-point first half is believed to be the second-highest total all-time in the country. http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1036676
Cobb
I saw this one ESPN and have been looking for a link to the story for a while. That's just crazy. They need to have a rule where the games ends or something because the kids on the other team probably wanted to kill themselves knowing how much publicity the game would get. Flash
The pressing may have been excessive but what do you want them to do? Their backups are in. They aren't just gonna pass the ball around till the game ends.
