fish7718
Not gonna lie, I've done that before playing some back yard basketball. I'm not impressed at all. The backboard is not even an obstacle when you are taking a fadeaway like that because you are going to be putting so much arc on the shot all the matters is if it's not target. I don't see why everyone is making a big deal out of this.

bravenewworld
Fish7718 is correct here. That really is not a hard shot to make, it just seems hard because it looks like something is in your way (when its really not). In reality if you can block out the idea of what you are doing, most players who have a decent jump shot would hit that on a regular basis. When i was younger we would always try trick shots and what not. One thing we would do is play behind the basket and take shots (we didnt have a clear board) and we would still make it probably 50% of the time. The Regime
A easy shot when you are just messing around, but it's very tough in a game as Situation said I've made this shot a bunch of times also but never in a game, I would probably never attempt it. Sun Tzu
I don't get what all the hype about this shot is... I do that all the time when I'm playing one on one, sure, that was a 5 on 5 but the commentators make it feel and look like he just won the game with that shot. -_- How many over the backboard shots have happened this season, alone?
