magicbalala245
I’m not a greedy person and the Lakers know I’m not a greedy person, you can see it in the way I play. I just want to play for a team that wants me, the team that gives me the chance to improve my game. I’m excited about it because I’m getting an opportunity to play. They were the team that showed the most interest in me, and that was all I wanted.I’m a champion, and I’m a Houston Rocket. Wow where was this guy with Orlando. We gave him a starting spot on a championship team and this is what he says. I'm glad he is gone. Good luck in Houston Ariza.
Art
The NBA is a job and all of his hard work is paying off literally.
alcstarheel
Well, he's right. He took the deal that Houston gave him, which was only the MLE. He's showing that he wanted to feel wanted by us, and apparently they didn't show that, which sucks, because he was a great player and great guy for us. He feels as if he is in a better situation. Well, we are definitely in a better situation.

magicbalala245
"Wow where was this guy with Orlando." What do you mean? What I mean is in Orlando and in NY he was buried on the bench. Over here in LA is when Phil started giving him minutes in the beginning then eventually a starter which made Trevor Ariza who he is today. Kobe also helped Ariza learn how to shoot the ball well. And Ariza took the same offer from Houston which is the mid level only difference was it was a 5 year contract. So in my mind it was just about the money for Ariza.
