His Greatness
Overrating is inevitable, but try to answer as logically as possible.
EastCoastNiner
Well, as much as I think it shouldn't play a role in getting inducted into the "Hall Of Fame", I think his death may help him. He only had three "Pro-Bowl" appearances, but he did win a MVP that he should have been the sole winner of, but unfortunately he had to share it. He never won a Super Bowl which hurts as well. I think my heart says yes, but my mind says, "I don't know".
fly3rs18
everyone's hearts say that he should be. its a really sad story, but unfortunately i dont think he was good enough for long enough to get in. he is still a respected player, but i dont know about HoF worthy
ChosenOne
No. He never won a superbowl, and he only went to 3 pro bowls to reach the Hall of Fame I believe you have to be great form the start to the finish not have a great run like he did. But he still was a great QB.
Flight
I honestly feel that he deserves a spot. He led the Titans to a Superbowl, they didn't win it but they got there, and he did so about 10 years after he was drafted by the team. That dedication really means something to voters too I think, and the fact that he lifted the Oilers up and made the Titans a respectable franchise makes him noteworthy. His career stats are nice too, he's one of 3 guys to ever throw for 35,000 yards and run for 3,500 (I think that's what the numbers were), with Steve Young and Fran Tarkenton being the only other 2. I say yes.
OSUBucksfan09
I say Yes, he was a great Qb and though the probowls and superbowls don't help his case, anyone who saw his game know how good he truly was. Also his stats are easily good enough to get him a spot.
