If we can land another pitcher or two I think we'll definitely be a playoff caliber team. We already have a great offense with Braun and Fielder, now we just need someone who can win us some games on the defensive end. Let's go Brewers! Jenneral Posted March 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2010 3-6 so far in Spring Training. I know Spring Training isn't too serious or anything, but is this a cause for concern? Going into the season we knew it would be a tough fight against our neighbor's to the South, but with the signing of Randy Wolf I thought we could maybe close the gab by a few games. The Brewers agreed to a five-year, $30.1MM extension with pitcher Yovani Gallardo today.
