All-Underrated Team

PG-Brooks: People tend to overlook what he's done in Houston and give most of the credit to their success to Arize when Brooks is just as, if not more important IMO.

Honorable Mention(s): Jose Juan Barea, solid role player for the Mavs who very little know about.

I don't know anyone who's giving any credit to Ariza lol. I'm sure they're well aware of his 37 fg%. Brooks was notorious in the playoffs for toying with Fisher.

My list:

PG: Louis Williams - Doing well even with Iverson

SG: Martell Webster - Great defender

SF: Gerald Wallace - Excellent all around player

PF: Charlie Villanueva - Quick for his size

C: Bogut - Great Go-to Center

Ah, good call on Webster. Forgot all about him.

Zach is a consistent 20 point 10 rebound player who has really stepped his game up this year, yet he's never been an all star with those numbers. Usually wherever he goes, the team usually doesn't do very well. However, he's helped carry the Grizzlies to a .500 record in the competitive West this year and is no longer playing like the "ball stopping team cancer" that he usually is.

To call someone underrated that means that the general fan does not recognize what he brings to the table.

Zach has been on four teams in his career (Blazers, Clippers, Knicks, Grizzlies), which means plenty of types of fans should know about him in one form or another and he has been in both the East and Western conference.

Most people who are general fans of the NBA know and recognize what he brings to the table.... No defense, 20 points, 10 rebounds. Since many fans have recognized this from him since around.. i dunno, '02 or something he cannot be considered underrated. He is still the same Randolph that we all know and hate, the only difference is instead of being on a team full of vets, he is on a team full of youth. Fact is the one thing this team needed from last season to be a 50% team was just a bit more scoring. Randolph just happens to be that guy.

Brooks isn't underrated, Lowry is. Brooks has a low IQ and a short understanding of the game of basketball. Great skills though, I won't deny that.

Lowry is overrated by Rockets fans. We complain about Ariza's shooting woes all the time but Lowry can't shoot worth crap.

Brooks is overrated by Rocket fans as well, everybody thinks he's Tony Parker even though Brooks's strength is jump shooting while that's one of Parker's weaknesses. So you might want to re-consider what you just said.

I actually agree that Brooks is overrated. He's got a nice set of tools offensively but he's pretty damn dumb with the ball sometimes.
