The only question, as one confidant put it, is whether Cable gets fired "for cause" (see Randy Hanson scandal, "Between the Lines" report, etc.) or if he gets fired just 'cause (JaMarcus Russell benching, non-scoring offense). Cable should stay he actually had them playing very well at tie this year, no one is going to make that team great in a year. Raiders were actually starting to win some games and played hard under Kiffin, and then Al Davis fired him. Cable seems to have done the best he could with the horrible roster and won some games.
