The Regime
Mo Williams suffered a left shoulder sprain during Tuesday night’s game versus Toronto at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. He was examined by Cavaliers Head Team Physician Dr. Richard Parker and the Cleveland Clinic's Dr. Mark Schickendantz. Williams also received a MRI at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health, the results of which confirmed the sprain. Williams is currently projected to be out for the next four to six weeks. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/64183/20100121/mo_williams_out_four_to_six_weeks/

The Regime
Delonte will do just fine replacing him imo. What happened to Boobie Gibson, I havent heard about him all season? Is he injured?

Check my Stats
Now everyone will see the Cavaliers would win 60 games with or without Delonte.... I hate how so many people attributed the Cavaliers huge year last year to Mo
The Regime
It was just a matter of time before someone on the Cavs got injured for an extended period, they were basically the only healthy team up until now.
Cleveland's Finest
Delonte will do just fine replacing him imo. What happened to Boobie Gibson, I havent heard about him all season? Is he injured? Too much depth, he barely gets to play...he actually leads the league in 3 pt pct. lol. He'll get to play now at least. Cleveland's Finest
Quoted for truth. Well it's not that hard to beat the Grizzlies and Clippers at home and the Pacers on the road.... It's also a testament to how good Boobie is if you've watch him play. Also with no Mo, LeBron has to do so much more and you see it in his assist numbers. He needs all the rest he can get so this isn't good having no Mo to play.
Flash
Their record without him shows how much of a one man show the team really is and is a testament to how good Bron is.

He is a sorry excuse for a 2nd option beside LeBron, this team is dominant with or without him. Way too many people said he was the reason the Cavs were so dominant last year, which is wrong. Delonte West is pretty much just as useful on the Cavaliers as Mo Williams is. EDIT: Of course you are better of with him than without him, I just get annoyed when people act as if he is something special when he basically a solid starter and that is it. Poe
Tell me then why the Cavs were so dominant last year?Watching LeBron run the show without any point guards last night shows just how good LeBron is, not the Cavs. Cavs' starting line up last night: James, Parker, Jawad, Hickson, O'Neal. The second leading scorer other than LBJ's 36 points and 8 assists was Shaq's 13 points. Though I'm mad about my own team to root for right now, the Cavs still won by double digits, and this game shows exactly why LBJ is the only all star on his team. Cleveland's Finest
LeBron run the show? He ran the show the 3 years before and we got 50 wins tops. So you're telling me we got 66 because LeBron's dominance? Because we had 45 wins the year before, that must be a pretty substantial jump in dominance. Cleveland's Finest
So we go 50, 50, 45 (not much of a change but he's supposedly getting better to the point that we should be getting more W's yet we aren't increasing win yet.....and then boom 66) Edited February 5, 2010 by Cleveland's Finest

Then won 45-50 games for 3 years with LeBron, and suddenly win 66. You're telling me that's expected?

All of the Cavs players are solely meant to compliment James' game. All of them a good defenders. All the perimeter players can shoot threes, and even a certain big man, and a few bigs and athletic wings who can finish down low. Fact is, none of the James' teammates have contributed enough individually to be an all star talent. Collectively the Cavs team have done a great job, I'm not denying that a team wins games, but LBJ is the guy who truly holds it all together. Just imagine a string attached to all the Cavs' players, and LeBron is holding the opposite end of every string in his right hand. You take away LBJ, you take away what holds everything together, the strings break, and the team collapses. This team truly revolves around this one player. You know, I'd actually like to see LBJ get injured for a few weeks.. just to prove a point.
Cleveland's Finest
LeBron never had a guy who could create shots for himself until he got Mo Williams. All-star or not, he was the first legit second option. People love to hate him because they are still trying to rehash their old beliefs that the Cavs are a one man team and use it as an excuse. The Cavs haven't lost a game since. Looks great for LBJ's case for MVP, but not for your case for Mo as an all star.
