What is McNabb worth?

Trade wise.

Joe Theisman and some other analyst say he has a good 5 years left in him and that the Eagles would be stupid to accept anything less than a 1st round pick.

Some say that he is only worth a 2nd or 3rd round pick,

I would love a 1st rounder for him but may accept a high 2nd rounder pick.

Teams I think that may be looking at him are: Carolina, Minnesota (depending on Farve), San Fran, Cleveland, Miami, Buffalo, Seattle, and St. Louis.

I would hope for a first round pick, obviously haha.

Also I don't know why a team like Cleveland or St. Louis would be interested. They are so far off from competing, I don't know why they'd want to pay Donovan the money he is going to want when he probably won't make much of a difference anyway. I'd think he'd be a good fit on a team like Carolina, that could be decent but is clearly lacking a good proven quarterback. But I also heard somebody suggest that Mike Vick would be better for Carolina. Who knows. It will be interesting as hell to see the Eagles pretty much control the QB market this offseason though, lol.

carolina, miami, minnesota (no favre), and arizona would all be great fits for mcnabb, and they all would be willing to give up talent because they need to win now

and i agree that it would be stupid to get less then a first rounder

Low first, high 2nd.

I think San Fran is the picture perfect trade scenerio they have 2 first round picks so they are willing to part with one to get a nice QB they had the 2nd best defense in the NFL when it comes to allowing points: McNabb, Crabtree, Gore. That team could be a pretty big threat. The only thing people under rate is the fact McNabb is going to have to learn San Franciscos offense which is not the biggest thing but it will definitley limit how good he can play.
