In response to the person in your thread that says it contributes to spam, IIRC, there was more than just postcount to it.

Actually, I think the last set of rules for the dedicated jerseys was just 8,000 posts. The reason it was just post count was because anyone who attempted post-padding their way to the 8,000 would have likely have had his or her post count lowered along the road.

Ah, yeah, you're probably right, though I remember at one point or another the requirement was just 8,000 posts.
